Your personal checking referral must:

  3. Complete one or more qualifying direct deposits totaling at least $500 within 90 days of account opening
  4. Complete at least 10 qualifying transactions within 90 days of account opening

What Qualifies?

Qualifying direct deposits include electronic deposits of payroll, pension, Social Security, government benefits or other recurring income from an employer or governmental agency. Person-to-person transfers, mobile deposits, ATM deposits and transfers between accounts do not qualify.

Qualifying transactions include debit card purchases and ACH credits or debits. Internal transfers between BankUnited accounts, ATM balance inquiries, reversed transactions and fee transactions do not qualify.
