At maturity, all Certificate of Deposits (“CD”), including ("IRA CDs") will automatically renew into a standard term closest in length to the initial term (which may be shorter or longer than the initial term) at the then current Standard Rate in effect at the time of renewal unless you instruct us otherwise.  You have a (7) calendar day grace period (“Grace Period”) following the maturity of your CD to make changes or exercise other available options to your CD or IRA CD without penalty. If you do not contact us during the Grace Period, your CD or IRA CD will automatically renew at the Standard Rate for the new term.  To provide instructions or for assistance during the Grace Period, please contact BankUnited's Client Care Center at 877-779-2265 or visit a banking center.

*Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of 7/20/2026 and is subject to change prior to account opening. Advertised APY is fixed for the initial term of the Certificate of Deposit (CD) only. APY assumes interest remains on deposit until maturity. A minimum opening deposit of $1,000 is required. Maximum opening deposit is $250,000 per CD. Early withdrawal penalties may apply and may reduce earnings. At maturity, CDs automatically renew into the standard CD term closest in length to the original term, which may be shorter or longer than the original term, at the standard rate then in effect, unless alternative instructions are provided during the seven (7) calendar day grace period following maturity. Other fees may apply and could reduce earnings. Rates are not guaranteed until the account is opened and funded. Advertised rates are available for accounts opened online through BankUnited and may differ from rates available through other channels. Accounts are subject to approval and verification. Offer available for consumer accounts only. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time. Additional terms and conditions apply. Refer to the Deposit Account Agreement and Consumer Schedule of Fees for complete details.
